LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va. -- F-15 Eagle tail number 84-024 from the 71st Fighter Squadron sits on the flight line prior to its transfer to Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., June 21. The fighter is one of the first two Eagles to be transferred to other units due to the impending inactivation of the 71 FS.
