Dr. Rudolph Jacobson recounts the story of the holocaust he witnessed as a child in Nazi Germany in the late 1930s. Here he touches on what happened the night history calls Krystallnacht, in which 267 synagogues were burned, including his own. The night after Krystallnacht, his stepfather was arrested and sent to a concentration camp. Dr. Jacobson reminded the audience not to forget history and to never stand idly by if others are victimized by hate. (Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Corey Hook)
