U.S., Dominican forces deliver food, medicine to remote villages

AZUA, Dominican Republic -- Army Specialist James Kaye, a UH-60 crew chief with the 1st Battalion-228th Aviation Regiment deployed from Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, takes a load of food from a local civilian to deliver to one of three villages in the south-central region of the country Nov.11. As of Nov. 12, American and British aircrews had delivered more than 241,000 pounds of provisions to the island nation as part of a Combined, Joint, International relief effort following Tropical Storm Noel.
