KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan -- Tech. Sgt. Mark De Corte, 5th Medical Support Squadron, Non commissioned officer in charge of medical readiness, poses next to an HH-60 Pave Hawk, while deployed to Afghanistan as a member of the 33rd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron based in Kandahar. The tan footprints painted on the helicopter represent lives saved. Sergeant DeCorte was recently selected to take part in the "Why We Serve" program.
