BOISE, Idaho -- Idaho veterans make their way down a parade path surrounded by hundreds of volunteers cheering them on during the 22nd annual Veterans Olympics Sept. 19 at the Veterans Home in Boise, Idaho. Hosted by the Idaho State Veterans Home and the Veterans Administration Medical Center, the games were created to allow veterans of varying ages and physical abilities to compete in modified sporting events similar to those featured in the Olympic Games. The base has provided hundreds of volunteers for more than 20 years to run the events and acts as escorts. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Samantha S. Crane)
