SHAW AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. -- Senior Airman Eric Charlton, 20th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician, performs a trick shot March 5 at the community center. Airman Charlton played the top players from all over the world and won 9th place, as well as $500, at the National 9-Ball Bar Table Pool Tournament in Reno, Nev., from Feb. 28 to 30. Airman Charlton said 9th is the best he has ever placed in a national tournament. He competed against 145 people and won seven matches in a row to further himself to victory when he lost against Kim Davenport who plays on the U.S.A. pool team.
