The Juniper Inn dorms get systematically demolished by Quinn Construction here, May 6. The dorms are being torn down to reduce energy costs at Ellsworth and are expected to be completely demolished by July 2009. This demolition effort is part of both Air Combat Command’s and the Air Force’s goal of reducing 20 percent of real property square footage and 20 percent of maintenance costs by the year 2020.
