MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Sylvia Cowper, daughter of Master Sgt. Frank Cowper, 5th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron production manager, waves an American flag as she awaits the return of her, “daddy” here Feb. 23 from Andersen AFB, Guam. The 5th Bomb Wing sent six B-52H Stratofortresses and more than 200 personnel to provide a continuous bomber presence in U.S. Pacific Air Command. 2009 was a year that brought progress and a renewed emphasis on safe, secure and reliable nuclear operations.
