DYESS AIR FORCE, Texas- Captain Jamie Ratcliff, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, hangs the American flag inside a C-130 out of Dyess AFB, Texas, while in flight from Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas to Corpus Christi, Texas , Sept. 11. Captain Ratcliff along with 4 other Airmen were sent to Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, to ride with the C-130 to Corpus Christi to assist in the evacuation of patients in the path of Hurricane Ike. The Air Force and other military forces not only respond in support of war efforts abroad but also to threats on the home front including natural disasters.
