4th Equipment Maintenance Squadron Airmen from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. transport a precision-guided munition at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, July 30 in preparation for the 53d Wing's air-to-ground Weapons System Evaluation Program known as Combat Hammer. During the Aug. 4-22 event, four units deployed to Hill AFB and six units travelled directly to the Utah Test and Training Range to drop munitions in realistic combat scenarios.
