3rd annual rodeo honors Gunfighter’s memory

MOUNTAIN HOME AIR FORCE BASE, Idaho -- A calf wrangler from the Professional Rodeo Circuit throws out his lasso in an attempt to catch a calf and tie him up during the third annual Daniel Dopps Memorial Rodeo at Optimist Park June 28. Daniel, a Gunfighter who passed away Aug. 7, 2005, died from injuries sustained Aug. 6, 2005, at a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association event at the age of 19 while assigned to the 366th Civil Engineer Squadron. People from around the Mountain Home community attended this event to support Daniel's family and to enjoy a night of rodeo excitement. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Airman 1st Class Ryan Crane)
