Flight simulator program hopes to spark youth’s interest in education

Michael Cook, an RC-135 instructor pilot from the 338th Combat Training Squadron at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., explains the opportunities that are available in the Air Force to Bellevue East High School students. The students took turns flying an RC-135 simulator as part of the Offutt Flight Simulator Program that promotes education by inspiring students through experiences focused around science, technology, engineering and math.
