U.S. Army Staff Sgt. David Butcher, a flight engineer assigned to Joint Task Force-Bravo's 1-228th Aviation Regiment, takes in the view from the ramp of a CH-47 Chinook helicopter as it cruises over the Honduran landscape, Dec. 2, 2013. The Chinook was transporting personnel and equipment to Mocoron in the Department of Gracias a Dios, Honduras, as part of a Culminating Exercise (CULEX) conducted by Joint Task Force-Bravo, Dec. 2-5, 2013. During the CULEX, Joint Task Force-Bravo conducted numerous exercise and real world operations. These included the deployment of the U.S. Southern Command Survey and Assessment Team as part of a natural disaster exercise scenario, as well as conducting two real-world Medical Readiness Training Exercises (MEDRETES) to provide medical care to citizens of remote Honduran villages.
