AAFES, New Balance add new tread to wounded vets road to recovery

The “Footwear Care Package for Wounded Service Members” program is led by New Balance and AAFES to provide free footwear to wounded Service members. The military member is required to meet with their installation chaplain to receive a certificate, which would allow them to receive the sneakers. (U.S. Air Force graphic by Shaun Eagan/Released)
