Shannon Secco, 325th Civil Engineering Squadron Natural Resources lead biological aide, holds recently-laid sea turtle eggs after locating a new nest Aug. 23 on Tyndall’s beaches. Natural Resources sets up cordons around these nests to improve the hatchlings chances of making it to open water. This year they have set up these protections around 59 sea turtle nests.
