JTF-Bravo conducts Air Load and Fly-Away Training

U.S. Army Spcs. Jack Wood and David Swain, assigned to the Army Forces Battalion, attach a container to a CH-47 Chinook during air load and fly-away training on Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, Nov. 25, 2014. The cargo was delivered to the U. S. Southern Command Situational Assessment Team at the Warrior Ramp for employment in the day’s training event. During the training members of the S-SAT received training on setting up a Pre-Positioned Expeditionary Assistance Kit to help prepare the team respond efficiently to humanitarian assistance and disaster response situations throughout U.S. Southern Command’s area of responsibility. The training focused on S-SAT familiarization, hands on training and a fly-away event between JTF-Bravo S-SAT personnel, Army Forces Battalion, and 1-228th Aviation Regiment in preparation for an upcoming exercise.
