AFSOUTH heads to Chile for largest air and space fair in Western Hemisphere

Two F-22 Raptors from Langley AFB, Va., arrived in Santiago, Chile to participate in the International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE), March 27, 2016. More than 65 Airmen from around the U.S. are scheduled to participate in a variety of activities during the week-long air show that includes aerial demonstrations, interaction with the local community, and subject matter expert exchanges with the Chilean air force. The F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team performs precision aerial maneuvers that demonstrate the unique capabilities of the world’s only operational fifth-generation fighter aircraft.
