COMACC surprised with Order of Sword invitation

Gen. Hawk Carlisle, commander of Air Combat Command, speaks during an enlisted all-call at Joint Base Langley Eustis, June 28, 2016. Carlisle’s presentation to the enlisted Airmen stationed here included facts about Operation Desert Storm, updates on the status of the Air Force and a question and answer session. At the conclusion of the enlisted call, Carlisle was presented with an invitation to be inducted into the Order of the Sword to recognize his dedication to the enlisted force during his 38 years of service. The Order of the Sword is the highest honor Air Force enlisted Airmen can bestow upon a commissioned officer who has made significant contributions to the enlisted force.
