Supplement Safety: What does it mean to you?

Unlike prescription medications, supplements such as protein powder and fat burners are not regulated by the Food and Drug Administration. When choosing supplements, personnel at the Shaw Health Promotions office recommend looking for logos such as these that indicate the product has been tested by a third party and has been found to have no adverse reactions.
