U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler pilots from the Electronic Attack Squadron 135 (VAQ-135) “Black Ravens,” conduct pre-flight inspections for an EA-18G Growler, with the help of a VAQ-135 aircraft maintainer March 4, 2019, at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. VAQ-135 is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
