Kingpin command and control ops begin at Shaw
A member from the 727th Expeditionary Air Control Squadron (EACS) “Kingpin” works at his station, at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, April 21, 2021. Kingpin is a tactical command and control unit that serves as the lead control and reporting center and directly provides the Combined Air Operations Center with a common air picture, enabling the completion of air operations across the US Central Command area of responsibility.
