71 RQS is first operational unit to receive fuel from KC-46A Pegasus

U.S. Air Force KC-46A Pegasus pilots assigned to the 916th Air Refueling Wing, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, provide fuel for an HC-130J Combat King II aircraft assigned to the 71st Rescue Squadron, Moody Air Force Base, Georgia, during a flight near Moody AFB, Aug. 24, 2021. Air-to-air refueling allows aircraft to travel greater distances without needing to land, which enables Airmen to accomplish prolonged operations.
