Tyndall answers CSAF’s Call for Change amidst Great Power Competition

Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Allvin operates the controls of a Recovery of Airbase Denied by Ordnance (RADBO) system during Readiness Challenge X at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, April 25, 2024. Allvin had the opportunity to fire a laser from the RADBO system, an 18-ton vehicle equipped with a three-kilowatt Zeus III laser used to detonate explosives such as bombs, grenades and improvised munitions on airfields in a deployed or austere locations.
