Restoring history: Airmen and veterans unite to revive T-33 Shoo

A model of a U.S. Navy Vought F4U Corsair hangs in the Lee County Veterans Museum during a Veterans Day and T-33 Shooting Star dedication ceremony at Bishopville, S.C., Nov. 11, 2024. The joint event provided an opportunity for veterans, active duty service members and the local community to gather, share experiences and reflect on the legacy of military service and those who sacrificed in defense of their nation.
