David, a therapy dog with the True North program, sits in "his office" in the building shared by the 388th Fighter Wings three fighter squadrons. Therapy dogs aren’t new to the military and veteran community, but they are relatively new to the 388th Fighter Wing as part of the Air Force’s True North program, which assigns mental health providers and religious support teams directly to units.(U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Nicholas Rupiper)
