LANGLEY AIR FORCE BASE, Va – Distinguished Flying Cross medals with the “C” device wait to be presented during a Distinguished Flying Cross ceremony at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia, Aug. 31, 2026. The DFC medal with the “C” device is awarded to Airmen who were exposed to hostile action and had shown heroism or extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight.
