    This iteration of Red Flag at Nellis Air Force Base has been engineered to provide consistent and realistic training to include space and cyberspace as mediums for organizational learning to take place at the same level as air operations. The development of in-theater command and control mechanisms and training exercises like Red Flag 21-1 will enable future deployment of space assets.

    On the eve of the U.S. Space Force’s (USSF) first anniversary, its members led a virtual Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) initiative, known as DeSTEMber, focused on connecting the nation’s elementary school students with space professionals. Members of the 328th Weapons Squadron (WPS), assigned to Star Delta, met virtually with 850 students around the Las Vegas Valley Dec. 15-17, to showcase how the USSF operates, fostering excitement about STEM and recruiting future service members.
