  • Air Force announces officer stratification guidance

  • Air Force improves lactation support for nursing mothers

    The Department of the Air Force recently announced new guidance that will improve support to nursing mothers when they return to work after having a baby. The updated policy, which is effective immediately, increases flexibility with lactation breaks and also mandates access to a refrigerator for the purpose of storing human milk.
  • Air Force releases grooming, fitness guidance during COVID-19

    In a message to Airmen March 31, Lt. Gen. Brian T. Kelly, Air Force deputy chief of staff for manpower, personnel and services, explained installation commanders have the authority to adjust standards as needed, while also encouraging Airmen to maintain grooming and fitness standards to the greatest extent possible.
  • Air Force senior leaders update OCP uniform guidance

    The Air Force announced April 23 new rules on Operational Camouflage Pattern uniforms that aim to better fit the needs of Airmen and the jobs they do while also holding fast to tradition. The changes highlighted include authorization of the Two-piece Flight Duty Uniform in garrison and updated patch guidance for the OCP uniform.
