  • Tactical Leaders Course enhances Airmen’s leadership skills

    Airmen from the 820th Base Defense Group (BDG) were put to the test in the Tactical Leaders Course, Aug. 5-11, here. The course was geared toward helping squad leaders improve their ability to plan, create operations orders and lead Airmen in tactical situations.

  • Ground transportation keeps Moody moving

    The 23d Logistics Readiness Squadron ground transportation flight services 56 vehicles equaling more than $3.8 million in assets. The flight serves as a focal point of support, from dispatching buses for base tours to transporting the bulk of airframe equipment to squadrons across the base.

  • A-10 training increases firefighters capabilities, team cohesion

    The 23d CES responded to an A-10C Thunderbolt II egress training scenario to test their capability in extinguishing an A-10 on fire while simultaneously rescuing its pilot. The training also served as an opportunity for firefighter crew chiefs and their Airmen to increase team cohesion.
