A fire burns along a ride during the California wildfires Beale partners with local agencies, California Fire Protection to fight wildfires
Firefighters from the 9th Civil Engineer Squadron here are partnering with state and local fire departments to fight fires in Butte, Yuba, and Nevada counties. The 9th CES sent a four-man team as a part of the initial response to work with local civil authorities to combat the fires on Oct. 9. The team has been assisting with battling the blazes throughout the week.

Firefighters from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and Green Valley Fire District teamed up to participate in live-fire training at D-M AFB, Ariz., this week. A total of about 125 firefighters from both agencies utilized this week’s Class-A training to maintain proficiency in fire protection.
