    In a joint effort to implement agile combat employment, F-15E Strike Eagle maintainers from the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing conducted hot pitting training and aircraft arresting system certification with deployed members from the 379th AEW, Aug. 23 and 28, 2020 at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.
  • F-15E Strike Eagle Nose Art

    When the 389th Fighter Squadron arrived at the 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing, not one of their F-15E Strike Eagles were displaying nose art. However, with the work of one Airman, this has changed to ensure the aircrew will return home with designs on their noses and stronger bonds between them. Nose Art dates well into World War I and became more embellished in World War II to help bring the warfighters a taste of home, a memory, place, significant other, or motto. With a passion for art and design, an airman in the fighter squadron took the lead to create and transform the nose art for the squadron.
  • HH-60G PAVE HAWK ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION RELEASED

    According to an Air Combat Command Accident Investigation Board (AIB) report released today, an HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter struck a galvanized steel cable and subsequently impacted an uninhabited desert area near Al Qaim, Iraq, on March 15, 2018. The mishap occurred during a mission to preposition a helicopter formation to a landing zone closer to the vicinity of ground operations.

    The first F-15E Strike Eagles assigned to the 336th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron arrived at an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia late last month, kicking off a unique new phase of Operation Inherent Resolve.
