Photo Essay: Meet Jojo, the 432nd Security Forces Squadron newest military working dog. Jojo is Creech AFB’s newest MWD, with two months on station and previously worked as a U.S. Marine Corps MWD before crossing into the Air Force. MWDs are trained to only listen to commands from their handlers and go through intense obedience training in order to operate under stressful situations. Constant training builds a close bond between working dogs and their handlers, allowing them to work efficiently together to protect the base. The dogs are put through tough-but-fair training to ensure they can accomplish their duties, and rewarded by their handlers once the job is done.
