Airmen from across the Air Force participated in the Feria Aeronáutica Internacional - Colombia (F-AIR) air show in Rionegro, Colombia, June 11-14. The air show garnered over 250,000 visitors and featured aerial demonstrations from the Colombian Air Force and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, along with static displays of four F-16 Fighting Falcons from the South Carolina Air National Guard. Additionally, two B-52 Stratofortress aircraft from the 307th Bomb Wing, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, performed a flyer over the fairgrounds alongside Kfir fighter aircraft from the Colombian Air Force.
United States military participation in the air show provides an opportunity to strengthen ties between the U.S. and Colombia while also helping to build military-to-military relationships with the Colombian Air Force. More
