379th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron Vehicle Operations section supports Al Udeid Air Base in its entirety. The section's shuttle service is responsible for transporting 19,000 base passengers a week, and additionally supports general passenger transport to and from Doha's Hamad International Airport. Service also extends to distinguished visitors and celebrity guests. Moreover, Vehicle Ops is in charge of all training, vehicle training and certifications for military personnel, averaging approximately 1,100 vehicle requests per week for official business and leisure. Vehicle Ops also delivers to respective units 1-million pounds of cargo (mission essential military aircraft and vehicle parts) shipped to Al Udeid, Qatar each week. More
