DoD Identifies Air Force Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of an Airman who was supporting Operation Inherent Resolve. Staff Sgt. Alexandria Mae Morrow, 25, of Dansville, New York, died March 22 in Southwest Asia while performing maintenance duties in support of combat operations. The incident is under investigation.

Langley 1 of 4 AFBs to test bio-based grease
The 733rd Logistics Readiness Squadron Vehicle Management Flight was chosen to participate in a 12-month long experimental testing of a new bio-based grease to lessen the base's impact on the environment.
The 441st Vehicle Support Chain Operations Squadron and representatives from the Defense Logistics Agency briefed the vehicle management flight about the impact of the bio-based grease on the three vehicles chosen to test the grease Jan. 31.

Air Mobility Command enables delivery of Israel’s first F-35s
SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Air Mobility Command Airmen worked around the clock to ensure Israel’s first two F-35 aircraft were delivered Dec. 12, making the U.S. ally the only country in the Middle East flying a fifth generation fighter aircraft.
The 618th Air Operations Center, based out of Scott AFB, Illinois, assigned the Tennessee Air National Guard’s 134th Air Refueling Wing, New Hampshire ANG’s 157th ARW and Pennsylvania ANG’s 171st ARW the critical mission of providing critical aerial refueling support en route to Israel.

Cryogenics helps pilots breathe easy across AOR
The 379th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron cryogenics team inspected liquid oxygen and liquid nitrogen tanks prior to aircraft shipment on Aug. 5. The cryogenics team provides quality aviation breathing oxygen, liquid oxygen, and liquid nitrogen in support of operations through the U.S. Air Forces Central Command area of responsibility.
