  • Moody Airmen host riot training for local state troopers

    Team Moody hosted Georgia State Patrol’s Mobile Field Force semiannual riot control training Nov. 16 through 17 here. The GSP used Moody’s facilities to ensure their readiness for riots while Airmen supported by participating as rioters. The training consisted of both classroom and outdoor portions.
  • Rescue aircrew refresh flight skills, stay current

    Eight Team Moody members from the 23d Wing, 347th Rescue Group and 23d Medical Group flew in an HC-130J Combat King II during pilot proficiency training. The training allowed aircrew members to practice standard and emergency procedures during flight. Pilots tested the HC-130J’s capabilities to perform a multitude of flying techniques that aid search and rescue efforts, air refueling and airdrop operations. The HC-130J’s mission is to rapidly deploy and execute combatant commander directed operations.
