Colonel JOHN B. GALLEMORE

Col. John B. Gallemore is the Inspector General, Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia. He leads more than 150 subject matter experts responsible for conducting more than 75 inspections annually.  By spearheading both a rigorous inspection schedule and an open-complaint resolution process, Col. Gallemore ensures combat readiness, regulatory compliance, and oversight of 77 active and gained wings or equivalent and more than 157,000 Airmen.

Col. Gallemore holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Business from Texas A&M University.  He has commanded at the Wing, Group, and Fighter Squadron levels, as well as served in a variety of leadership positions including Operations Officer, Instructor, Evaluator and Thunderbird pilot. Prior to his current assignment, Col. Gallemore served as the Director of the Secretary of the Air Force and Chief of Staff of the Air Force’s Strategic Execution Group, Headquarters Air Force, Washington, D.C.

Col. Gallemore’s operational experiences include Operations IRAQI FREEDOM, FREEDOM’S SENTINEL, ATLANTIC RESOLVE and INHERENT RESOLVE.  He is a command pilot with more than 4,100 flying hours in the F-16, T-38B and T-37B.
