OVERVIEW
The ACC Weapons Safety Division (SEW) is a team of highly-skilled safety professionals that manage the weapons safety portion of the mishap prevention program across ACC. Responsibilities of the division include explosives site planning; assessing explosives risk to operations; nuclear surety; mishap investigation and reporting; and providing weapons safety expertise to COMACC and HQ ACC directors.
ORGANIZATION
The SEW division reports to the ACC Director of Safety and is comprised of 2 civilian and 2 active duty military personnel. This team represents over 100 years of combined experience in the weaponssafety discipline, and the maintenance, operation, and disposal of non-nuclear munitions.
