Violence Prevention - The Violence Prevention Program focuses on non-clinical and primary prevention (preventing it before it even occurs) of interpersonal violence (child abuse, dating violence, domestic violence, workplace violence, sexual assault). Through collaboration with other helping agencies, it identifies, assesses, and implements public health-informed and evidence-based prevention practices, processes, programs, and policy to contribute to the well-being of Airmen, their families, their performance, and a ready Total Force.
The Violence Prevention Program is led by MAJCOM Violence Prevention Program Managers (VPPMs) and installation Violence Prevention Integrators (VPIs).
