LearningExpress, a free online educational resource, is now available to U.S. Air Force Airmen, retirees and dependents. Made available through Air Force Libraries, LearningExpress offers self-paced courses and tutorials ranging from elementary school to adult education.

With the closure of the D-M Library for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2013, LearningExpress provides another avenue for members of the Desert Lightning Team community to pursue further professional and educational goals.

Tests, courses, and electronic books are offered on several subjects. There are software tutorials covering use of programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Study materials are available for civil service and other job licensure exams. Resources cover jobs such as postal worker, cosmetologist, electrician, and emergency medical technician to name just a few.

Adult skill building courses, covering topics such as personal finance and public speaking, are also offered as well as in-depth resume writing courses can also be used via LearningExpress.

There are also test-prep materials to include the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test, Officer Candidate test, Advance Placement exams, Graduate Record Examinations and more.

Additionally, LearningExpress is the only resource Air Force Libraries provides specifically for the U.S. Citizenship test.

Personnel can register for LearningExpress by going to the site via the Library tab on Portal. Retirees and dependents can also be registered via Portal. Once registered, LearningExpress can be accessed from anywhere.

To register, or to find more information about LearningExpress and other free online resources, visit the Air Force Library Portal page.
