OZARK, Ala. -- The Eglin Air Force Base Honor Guard prepares to give military honors in the form of a 3-volley rifle salute during a memorial service Jan. 22. 1st Lt. Robert Franklin Dees, a 430th Fighter-Bomber Squadron, 474th Fighter Bomber Group F-84E Thunderjet fighter pilot, was shot down over North Korea in 1952 on a combat mission during the Korean War.
