  • SENTRY REX provides joint-service training opportunities

    Air Combat Command’s 552nd Operations Group led a joint-service exercise from Tinker Air Force Base January 14-17 focusing on Combat Search and Rescue mission integration. SENTRY REX 19-01 marks the first time in more than 20 years the 552nd OG has hosted such an exercise. A statement provided by the unit commander explained the exercise provided an opportunity for USAF and U.S. Army mission sets to be flexed to enhance Battle Management and Command and Control training in a controlled, realistic environment.
  • Korean War veterans reunite for one last hoorah

    A reunion is held for this association every year at different bases around the states. This year, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina had the privilege to host the final official reunion for the group, Oct. 26-28, 2017.
  • Airmen train Marines prior to deployment

    The fuel line was quickly secured to the bottom of the F-15E Strike Eagle parked on the flight line at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina. The Airman looked over at the R-11 aircraft refueling vehicle and gave the member standing by the truck a thumbs-up. The man turned knobs on the control panel while the pressure gauges began to move. Within seconds, the digital display flashed numbers faster than they could be recognized.
  • 336th FS leaves for Combat Hammer

    Approximately 14 F-15Es from the 336th Fighter Squadron, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina left for to Hill Air Force Base, Utah, for exercise Combat Hammer, April 29, 2016. The two-week exercise for will include F-15E combat training and weapons testing.
