Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force David Flosi visited deployed Airmen assigned to the 378th Air Expeditionary Wing at an undisclosed location within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, July 23-24, 2024.

During his historic first visit to CENTCOM, Flosi met with key regional partners and 378th AEW leadership, discussed Air Force priorities and thanked them for their sacrifices and dedication to the mission.

Flosi spoke about the significance of further developing the Air Task Force to increase overall mission readiness under the Air Force’s Force Generation model.

“The expectations you have downrange are something we don’t really do well today in garrison—we need to get better,” Flosi emphasized. “We need to scale the great things we do here in this AOR back home, so you can train, qualify, exercise and certify together. When you show up downrange, on day one you're ready to fight.”

He also stressed that to achieve the seamless readiness for Airmen on day one, it’s critical to bring the skills and knowledge back home and provide a platform to execute that feedback.

“We need your help; it's about doing everything we can to ensure you've got access to the tools and resources, and we build the right processes and policies, so you can develop and execute today's mission,” said Flosi.

By supporting and providing the 378th AEW with the needed tools, resources and feedback, Flosi recognized each Airmen for their critical role in ensuring regional security.

"Everyone here is important to not only our nation's, but also our Allies and Partners' defenses," said Flosi during his all-call. "What you do is important work worth doing. I am both proud and honored to serve alongside you."
